a trip
So Vance and I have been thinking that it is about time that we take a trip together, alone! This has been attempted many a times, but people just seem to want to get married. So yesterday I spent a good half of the afternoon looking up various vacation spots. We are thinking of going to San Padre Island down in southwest Texas. YAYA!!!!! BUT we got a call late last night ...Kent (Vance's brother) is getting married in June. Go figure. I pretty much screamed.

we've been to south padres...it is fun...its small...but its pretty. the surf was decent...the beaches were whiter than corpus...but there were a lot of mexicans (really, you are on the border!)and the other bummer is...its in the middle of nowhere...not much fun on the way.
so maybe a wedding is more fun=))
Try a long weekend to San Antonio. What ever you do, don't do San Padre spring break.
we went to san antonio and will never ever go back. i guess we will have to rethink this!
so does that mean we'll see you in june?? :)
how about hawaii in sept/oct? i'll be calling you about that one :)

If it's not one thing it's another! Elsie is so cute! Now that you have been in your house for awhile and have a camera now you should post some pictures of the house! Are you loving it down there?
Dang it all - is this the "last" of the Bowman/Packard clans to get married? I say go for the Hawaii trip.
