This is twice in once night but I am on a role. When my best friend was coming out of the temple I had my camera ready to take pictures. After a few shots my camera beeped at me. My memory card was full. Later on I went through my pictures and discovered that I had pictures on my camera from ALMOST two years ago! So here are some pictures of last summer up until a couple of weeks ago!

All right! So much has happened these past three weeks! But in order for me to blog more often each event has to be strategically blogged.
So my first big thing that I did was go to Arizona. I was there for about 5 days and I welcomed the warmth with open arms....but would I ever live there??? I got to spend time with my amazing family.
Thursday I saw my first ultrasound ever and it was the most amazing thing. My face was pretty much right up next to the monitor.
Friday was the big day, the reason I was there. My best friend Marissa got married to her sweetheart. She has been my best friend since 7th grade and she has become part of the family.
Saturday Adrienne had her first piano recital for her students. They all did really well and you could tell by her students performances that she is an amazing teacher. Later on that afternoon the kids went swimming in an ice cold pool as a just soaked up the sun and watched them.
Sunday Von and Lindsey were finishing up their packing for their move to Ohio. We all loaded in the car to go and help them.
Monday I flew back to Salt Lake City. From there I loaded onto a bus to Rexburg. That was the worst part of my trip. The bus was late and there was no air conditioning.
The trip was amazing. I managed to eat In-N-Out 3 times and called Vance on all of those occasions to gloat. And it was great to see family and old friends.

I know that I am loved
I had such a great birthday yesterday. I went into school to get my hair cut and when I walked in I had friends run up and give me big birthday hugs. Yesterday there was a big hair competition in Pocatello. My friend Amy entered to compete so I stayed at school when my hair was done and helped her out. It was actually really fun and exciting. It helped me to step out of my box and be more creative. Once we were done my friend Regina took me down to Idaho Falls and Vance picked me up. We spent part of our time looking around downtown Idaho Falls and then went and got dinner. When we got home Devin and Andrea were waiting for us and they had a birthday treat, lemon bars! It was low key but really fun.
My phone rang a lot yesterday. I got such wonderful calls from my family. I even had a conversation with my neice Emma, and I loved it. If you know Emma that is a really big deal. I got text messages from friends.and family. I am surrounded by such loving people, and I feel so lucky. Thanks for making it such a great day!!

I am so bad at this
Wow, I am sure that no one reads my blog because I NEVER EVER POST!!! So right now Vance and I are spending time together at his best friends apartment. We are currently getting all of our exercise from "Rockband." I must say that I am an amazing drummer. And my foot gets some great movement. Soon one leg will be bigger than the other. We have also discovered that if we don't blink enough when we play our eyes get dry and we get headaches.
So you all must be now thinking that we are lame and lazy...well we live in Rexburg, ID. This is the place that April (rain) showers are actually snow and hail showers. For instance Monday was a perfectly normal day and I was just doing my thing with my flip flops on. Then out of no where hail and snow come pouring down on me!!! Ok I am now done venting about cold weather and nothing to do.
Vance will be done with winter semester on Friday!!! Vance has interviewed with four different companies to intern with over the summer. Three are based in Idaho Falls and one in Blackfoot. So we are just waiting to hear back. Because of my schooling we will not be moving until we are completely done with school.
Well I am tired so I will write something more interesting later...

The Happenings
Happenings since February 17th!
- I finally made it back to school the following week!!! That was a victory. I still have a slight cough but other than that I was good to go. BUT things just don't work out that peachy do they? Instead another health problem occurred, and no I am not sharing it on this blog. I will tell you this. I thought that I was dieing and my sweet sister Adrienne told me I wasn't. Aren't we all relieved? My family got a good kick out of it. I just have to laugh at the uncomfortable things in life!
- February 29th we got together with Vance's friend Ryan and my friend Sarah. We had been playing different games for a couple hours and Sarah just kept winning. So she decided to raise the stakes and add a couple twists to the game. The loser had a food dare they had to do or another dare of the groups choice. Sarah was the first to lose! And then Ryan...and then Vance. Now Vance refused to drink our concoctions. So his dare was to dance to: a song of our choice, in the clothing of our choice, and he could not stop. Now if you know Vance then you know that he does not dance (at least in front of people). I have NEVER laughed so hard in my entire life. The video will be posted as soon as we can get it for your entertainment!
- March 1st Vance and his friend Ryan went snowboarding at a small place called Kelley Canyon. They went to the car to get some stuff and found our window busted out. There were two backpacks in the car that were taken. One of them had all of Vance's school stuff. Luckily Vance got a call from some guy saying he found his bag ditched on the side of the road! All that was missing were the electronics from his bag.
- March 7th Vance turned 25!!! He had an ice hockey game and he wanted to play. So we packed our things and loaded the bus to Missuola, Montana. It was really fun in Missuola. Vance and his team played really well and had so much fun.
- March 8th my mom found me a great deal on a plane ticket to fly down to Arizona for my best friends wedding! And I can't wait to see everyone and be in warm weather. It was also my amazing and beautiful mothers birthday!!!
I think that just about sums it up!

An Uneventful Week
I am addicted to reading everyones blogs. They are all so funny and entertaining! So I am intimidated to write because I know that mine aren't going to be that funny. Ok I have proclaimed my fear of the blogging world. Now I have to get over it and move on.
Like I said in my previous post I have been planning a fundraiser for school. Well it happened on Saturday and was a great success. We raised just under $1700!!! We averaged everything out and we had at least 180 little girls come through to be made up into princesses. I started with 30 crowns at 10am and they were gone by 10:30! It was nuts. So that was my victory for the month. (you can see pics on my friend Stephanie Mitchells blog)
Well in all of the stress of organizing a fundraiser in less than two weeks I got sick. Sunday morning I woke up with a fever, congestion...the works. We went to the doctors and I found out that I had caught bronchitis. So I had been cooped up in my room with not much to do. But I finally began to feel well again so I decided to go to school. BIG MISTAKE. I, out of all the girls in school, got a client with thick hair to her butt. Now the length of hair is important. My ticket said "all over color." My heart sank as she explained that she wanted us to go through the weave that had been done on her head and recolor the browns that were ruined by the previous
stylist she had gone to. This is such a tedious job. I had to go through at a little smaller than 1/4in sections and then slice off that and weave out the discolored browns. Once I got that far I had to place the foil beneath it, paint the color on and make a packet. Well I started getting really hot and sick again and had to leave my client and go home. If only I had had a cut or scalp treatment! But let me just tell you out of love to all of you who get weaves...DON"T! There are other ways of achieving that natural look, and they take half the time! And to my sisters, I will never do a weaves for you there is way too much hair on all of your heads.
Oh I have to say that Vance took great care of me. And Loralee thanks for such a cute blog!

The Hitch
Ok so today was a hectic day. So at school we have student run programs and I am part of student council. Until the end of April we are having fundraisers for four different foundations. Now the really neat thing about this is that it is not just my school that is participating but all other Paul Mitchell partner schools. Now the fun thing for my school is that we just started planning events in January and all other schools have been planning since November! STRESS!!!
So I am one of the creative masters over Princess Days which is this Saturday, and I do have to say that it is going to rock. But we have been a little behind on having everything that we have needed. So I gathered some girls from my team and we went out to do some advertising and pick up some supplies. Oh, did I mention that it snowed at least six inches last night? So with all the snow the roads were slick and blindingly bright. So I was backing out of our final destination to return to school. I checked behind me to make sure that I was clear. So I am going and CRUNCH! I hit a parked car....not a moving car...a parked car. The car was white and everything behind me was so bright I missed it. Luckily my hitch just went into her passenger headlight. Now some people may say "luckily??" But if the hitch was not there is could have been much worse. So I am grateful for hitches. Anyway one of the other girls on my team had rearended someone so it also could have been much worse.
So that was my adventure for the day. Surprisingly enough Vance wasn't even mad! What a great day.
